2020-Degradation mechanism of Saccharomyces cerevisiae β-D-glucan by ionic liquid and dynamic high pressure microfluidization

创建时间:2021-01-20 15:54

The insolubility of Saccharomyces cerevisiae β-D-glucan in most common solvents seriously restricts its applications and recovery. In this work, ionic liquids (ILs) were used for dissolution and modification under high pressure microfluidization (HPM). ILs 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate (EmimAc) showed good β-D-glucan dissolving capacities, which can facilitate its structural modifications to recycle under environmentally friendly conditions. However, the synergistic effectofionic liquid andhighpressure microfluidization onphysiochemical properties and structure of S. cerevisiaeβ-D-glucan were unclearly. The objectives of this study were: 1) to study the physiochemical properties ofβ-D-glucan after treating by ILs and HPM; 2) to compare the essential structure and conformation of β-D-glucan after treating by ILs and HPM; 3) to provide theoretical basis for precise regulation and green manufacturing of soluble S. cerevisiae β-D-glucan.
